S20 is the upgraded successor to the S10 Ultra, extending the horizontal field of view to 170° and the maximum range to 80 m while retaining RGB-D alignment, a 200 Hz IMU, software triggering, and MIPI module support.
Product overview
S20 is an industrial near-panoramic RGB-D camera designed for indoor and outdoor 3D perception. Based on dToF technology, it outputs depth maps, IR images, point clouds, and RGB images, with RGB and depth data aligned spatially and temporally inside the camera. The device integrates a 200 Hz IMU and SoC, supports software triggering, and works with SLAM algorithms such as the FastLio family for mapping, localization, and environmental perception. In addition to the standard camera, S20 is available as a smaller custom MIPI module.

Core capabilities
170° ultra-wide field of view
The ToF horizontal field of view is 170°, supporting near-panoramic environmental perception and wide-area spatial data acquisition.
Up to 80 m range
The specified range is 0.2–80 m at 90% reflectivity, with ambient-light resistance up to 100 kLux.
Synchronized RGB-D alignment
Outputs depth, IR, point-cloud, and RGB data, with RGB and depth aligned spatially and temporally inside the camera.
IMU and SLAM integration
Integrates a 200 Hz IMU and SoC and supports software triggering for mapping and localization workflows using the FastLio family and similar algorithms.
Specifications
Mechanical design and interfaces
- Standard camera
- MIPI module
The standard camera uses Ethernet communication and supports 12–27 VDC power, PTP time synchronization, and IP67 ingress protection. Its specified dimensions are 105 × 69 × 44 mm, and it weighs approximately 420 g.

Integration and deployment
1
Plan the field of view and mounting space
Reserve clearance based on the 170° × 68° ± 3° ToF field of view, and keep mirrors, bright metal surfaces, and narrow reflective cavities out of the near-field view.
2
Select the interface and power architecture
The standard camera uses Ethernet and 12–27 VDC power. For space-constrained devices, evaluate the custom MIPI module and complete the mechanical and electrical design according to its delivery documentation.
3
Configure synchronization and data links
Configure PTP, the 200 Hz IMU, and software triggering for the system architecture, and confirm stable reception of depth, IR, point-cloud, and RGB data.
4
Validate the target environment
Validate operating range, accuracy, RGB-D alignment, and SLAM stability under the target reflectivity, ambient light, temperature, vibration, and motion-speed conditions.
Typical applications
Robotic lawn mowers
Localization, navigation, and wide-area environmental perception in yards and lawns.
