Application platform

AW3 provides a shared interface for device connections, algorithm configuration, licensing and communications for pallet docking, storage location monitoring, depalletizing and volume measurement. Algorithms produce task-specific results; vehicle, robot or warehouse systems handle the subsequent operation.

Application algorithms

Depalletizing is available in AW3. Features depend on the delivered configuration and licenses. Obstacle avoidance and V2 Pro localization use their own tools.

Installation by application

Deploy algorithm packages according to the target device’s instructions. A .tar.gz algorithm package is not a Windows frontend installer.

Deployment workflow

1. Prepare the compatible cameras, Windows host, network and AW3 installer.
2. Place cameras and host on the same subnet, then install the components required by the application.
3. Connect devices, create camera groups, license the algorithms and inspect the images.
4. Follow the algorithm manual for calibration, parameter configuration and result validation.
5. Configure communications and connect the application to the host system.

The frontend, device services and algorithms have separate versions. Check installed versions and the project configuration before upgrading; a frontend update does not update device algorithms automatically.
